The Aloha Zen Academy of Martial Arts  is proud to call the on the Island of Oahu home.  Established in 2005, the academy believes in traditional values.  We teach the classical art of Tang Soo Do Mi Guk Kwan (The American School of the Way of the Empty Hand Defense) founded by Grandmaster Charles J. Ferraro.  Our training in Tang Soo Do also integrates the martial arts of Aikido, Jiu-jitsu, Tai Chi and Philippine Martial Arts (Kali, Escrima, Arnis).

At Aloha Zen Academy of Martial Arts, we believe in fostering the principles of respect and discipline in a positive learning environment, which is our foundation for the martial arts education.  Students can learn life skills through the art of Tang Soo Do training, which in turn, helps to fulfill the development of every aspect of the individual.  Our goal is to assist with the growth of each person who passes through our Academy and help create someone who is free from inner conflict and who can deal with the outside world in a mature, intelligent, forthright and virtuous manner.

We are further dedicated to servicing our students in the development of their martial training and leadership skills. These skills will assist our members to be not only successful in protecting themselves and their loved ones but will also provide a reservoir of strength from which they can draw from in order to be successful in all other aspects of their daily lives.
